Our Mission
To establish profitable and scaleable agri-enterprises in resource poor urban and rural communities. Our major goal is to support people from diverse cultures and countries to successfully operate local food enterprises for social, environmental and financial gain, improved nutrition and health.
Our methods for implementing this mission are hands-on training and business planning, on-the ground demonstration linked to establishing an Agribusiness Development Center that demonstrates production, processing, storage, marketing and the distribution of healthy, high quality, safe and affordable food. Our field of outreach includes urban and rural communities in the US and the Global Community.
Seven Harvest, Inc. will assist culturally and geographically diverse communities in developing their own scalable agriculture systems via urban and rural farming, school and community gardens. Seven Harvest, Inc. will also provide technical assistance and training to small family farmers, urban youth, socially disadvantaged women, and college interns in sustainable farming practices.
Seven Harvest, Inc. will operate a seven acre Agribusiness Development Center on Crowley Ridge, outside of Forrest City, the Pearl of the Arkansas Delta. The center will feature active demonstrations of aquaculture, vermi-culture, beekeeping as well, as greenhouse and extended-season hoop house farming. In addition, Seven Harvest will manage collaborative urban production, marketing and food distribution projects in Memphis, TN and Little Rock, AR and will strive to become a leader in the development of food and health policy in the mid-south states of Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee.
